About the kiss, I think it is more likely a flashback sequence than present day, but NL does mess with people’s heads so who knows. Hook may be working overtime but J.Mo said it was complicated. I felt like Eddy changed the subject to Regina rather quickly too. I see only good things in having Neal needing to win Emma over, because that gives the audience a chance to see him being brave, patient, kind and see what tugs at Emma’s heart about him. Meanwhile, it gives Hook time to clear his head and realize there are other fish in the sea more suited to and interested in him, without it playing out like he’s giving up as opposed to better understanding himself and what he really wants to be.
