Based on that new spoiler, I have my doubts that Rumple was ever a Lost Boy himself in NL. Instead, I think Rumple didn’t meet PP directly until he was already the Dark One. As for Rumple’s doll, my new idea is that while the doll is from his childhood, it’s simply a magically manifests itself as Rumple’s worst fear while in current-day NL. Or maybe Rumple simply gave that doll to little Bae, who had it while in NL. That doll represents Rumple’s UN-happy thought.
