In 3×3, we met a precocious fairy named Tinkerbell who obviously has a history with the infamous Captain Hook. Both spent a lot of time in Neverland, so it’s likely that that upon their reunion, they were bound to pick up where they left off. Hook said, “A Fairy! Who lived here when I was about.. she might even have some pixie dust.” He also told Tink that “after all they’d been through together” that she could offer him her assistance. What do you think they’ve been through together? Are they allies? Friends? Maybe something more? They way they looked at each other suggests at least a strong mutual attraction.

So Phee and I were talking about this in the chat earlier today but we feel slightly guilty cause oh boy are in love with this (despite being avid Hookriel’s–shh. We’re not telling Ariel!).
I was stuck by the way Hook talked to Tink, it was deferential at first: “Lady Bell” and then he called her Tink, which is a term of endearment–even Regina stuck to “Tinkerbell.”
And her “Hello Hook” was laced with sparky-ness.
They both like to break rules
I think they both believe in second chances. Hooks believes he should have one and Tink grants them.
Obviously both have strong NL original myth ties
Jane Espenson even tweeted that they had a sparky history but if have to keep watching to see if it’s romantic.

I think if ABC is marketing with synergy they will wink wink about Pirate Fairy. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2483260/ (Tom Hiddleston aka Loki is voicing Hook!)I do not expect more than flirtation like what Hook had with Cora, but with less dislike underneath, more seductive but not serious, less purposeful maybe? Like the kind of flirting you might do with a bouncer to get into a club….she was a party girl and he is a guy who appreciates the ladies.

I’m excited to learn what kind of history they share. Tink being the only woman on the island probably received a lot of Hook’s attention and flirtation during the time they were in NL together. Of course, I’m hesitant to make too much of the way Hook looks at Tink, since he looks at every attractive woman that way: Milha, Regina, Belle, Emma, Snow, Ruby, and now Tink. I’m not including Cora in there, since I think he was mostly scared silly by her. Hook is a ladies’ man.

I’m conflicted. Something of some sort happened between them. Just what and of what nature we have no idea yet. Part of me is rebelling on shipping them. I’m still clinging to the side of the Hookriel ship. I even made a flag. But I could see the potential here.

Oh but what about the way she was looking at him though. And he almost looked bashful. Something totally happened there.

She’s firey and feisty, which is Hook’s type, but she also looks nothing like Milah, so she was safe to have some fun with, without him getting all emotionally confused. But Tink got herself emotionally confused. He probably double crossed her at the last and that’s how he escaped NL. Tink didn’t look all that pleased when she was watching Hook and Emma sitting together, which would fit with Tink’s typical, jealous streak.
I wonder if perhaps part of Hook’s attraction to Emma is that she reminded him a bit of Tink, the firey, feisty, damaged blonde. I think the situation he’s found himself in with Emma could be a flip of the situation he was in with Tink. This time he’s the one who is more emotionally invested, but from Emma’s perspective they’re just working together.
I don’t necessarily see anything happening again with TinkerHook in present day, I think she’s gonna get her wings back, and once she’s a fairy again, she won’t be having an epic romance storyline, (so hopefully Ariel won’t come after me, because I am still on the good ship Hookriel for the future), but I’m dying to see what their history entailed and think it should be fun to watch them interact in present day.
