I have twice tried to re watch 3rd episode twice and got interrupted each time….

What I want to know is… When Robin Hood was sitting in the tavern he was talking to some man… I kept thinking it was RUMPLE. I thought that was why Regina did not enter the tavern, why she backed off of going in to see someone who was suppose to be a true love. Was that Rumple who was sitting across from Robin Hood?

I also do not think Regina had DANIEL out of her system.. it was too soon.. She is going through the seven steps of grieving although I think she got stuck in the ANGER PHASE.

Why do you think Regina did not go into the tavern? Was that man RUMPLE?

Regina didn’t go in to the tavern because she afraid. Most people who have lost a loved one are afraid to move on and find love again. They are afraid that if they do, they are betraying the love they lost.

His shirt completely covers his wrist. The tattoo is on his arm. The shirt is covering up where its seen on the other actor who plays RH.

Yes but they missed the opportunity to show it to us so it seems very after the fact especially with the recast necessity.   Still the new guy is good too and excited for the story but it is like watching a play and a set falls down.  You try not to notice but you do.

Just want to second what has been said about Regina being in her anger phase as someone who was bereaved of a loved one early in life. I can say from experience that fear factor is a huge one as well as the sense of betrayal. Tink and others fail to grasp the extent of the damage to Regina’s heart and make the mistake of thinking she can change on a dime.  The momentum of events of the plot never gave her a chance to mourn properly. In my opinion it’s not until the events of 2×05 “The Doctor” when Daniel gave his permission for her to open her heart again and they could have a proper good-bye that to me represents the point where she could begin to let go and it was at that point she needed all the moral support she could get. Unfortunately, what she got was mother dearest and the short-sightedness of the Charming clan. Here’s hoping Regina and Robin’s courtship begins soon!

Meh, I’m willing to accept that the sleeve is just covering it in the previous ep. They put it far enough down his arm, it’s not like it’s on his wrist.

Someone did ask Adam about the tattoo on Twitter and here was his response:

@LoganXfiles @swanqueenmama planning vs execution. sometimes u have a plan but the details of the "how" (ex. a tattoo) get worked out later

@LoganXfiles @swanqueenmama just trying to provide insight on our creative process. Yes. It's imperfect. But we try.

In other words: RH was always intended for Regina but the tattoo idea formed a wee bit later.
