I agree with what Phee wrote.  A few decades ago it might have been a stir to see interracial couples, but no one I saw commented on that in a negative way about the ones we’ve seen on the show.  Any negatives about Tamara were purely she’s a zealot, illogical-taser-toting, evil cheater, lying liar who lies and kills and steals little boys!  Thankfully that intolerance has been changed slowly in part because of shows/stories  that helped people to see an example  and fall in love alongside people. So sometimes it takes a story to trigger people’s compassion and desire to understand.
