This was suggested by Isabelle in the chat. What if Wendy is to Peter Pan as Belle is to Rumple? That way, Wendy isn’t necessarily evil but rather trying to save Peter Pan. The actors who play PP and Wendy are 18 and 19 respectively. They easily could be paired romantically on the show.
Also, I was reading this quotation by the original PP to Wendy:
“Wendy,” Peter Pan continued in a voice that no woman has ever yet been able to resist, “Wendy, one girl is more use than twenty boys.”
What if the reason PP doesn’t want a hoard of girls is because he already is in love with a single girl, Wendy?
