How nice is the Hook/Charming bromance? Even though Charming is still resistant…. Hook does seem genuinely concerned about Charming’s injury.

If he was just a stereotypical pirate, he’d be less phased I feel – more “hey! Now I can have a chance with the daughter without Daddy sticking his nose in”. But we aren’t getting that. Maybe the Captain feels responsible for his new crew? All of them, even those who have previously punched his lights out?

I’m starting to think that Hook is going to be the one to tell everyone about Charming. And I hope he does. It would be a step in the right direction, for me at  least, to knowing that Hook isn’t going to sit by and let Charming not tell his wife and child.

I think it’s still far from “bromance.” But it’s more a relationship of respect and care because Hook now realizes that Charming is Emma’s father.

If a guy cares about a girl, it’s honorable for him to care about her family, too.

Which is why I really want Hook to be the one to tell Snow and Emma about the dreamshade. It would prove that he can put family (even though they are not his own) first.

I loved the scene outside the cave, after the others go in, and it’s just the two of them, and Hook looks seriously conflicted about keeping the secret. On the one hand, he wants to earn Charming’s trust, so he’s gotta keep his mouth shut. On the other han – hook, he knows that Charming’s family deserve to know and would want to know. I wonder if the conflict he’s feeling might relate in some way to an experience from his own past? I agree with RG that Hook’s gonna reveal the truth to them all soon.

But I like bromance.  But I love the second part of this too.
