We’re going to see Jafar when he was a child. This means we’ll most likely be seeing an Agrabah flashback:

    Young Jafar

Welcoming another actor from Lost to the show, young Anthony Keyvan will play a young Jafar in this week’s upcoming episode. Ironically, Anthony played a young Sayid (Naveen Andrews/Jafar) on Lost.

Headcanon: Jafar looses his sister in a tragic accident for which he takes the blame. Old Jafar wants to change the rules of magic to go back in time and prevent the accident from ever happening.

I am totally on board the train of thought that Jafar wants to change the past.  I think RQ wants to bring back someone who she thinks died.  I am not sure the person is dead.

Perhaps in the OUAT version of things, Jafar and Jasmine are brother/sister? And maybe Aladdin was the cause of Jasmine’s death? At the hands of a genie perhaps?

As far as RQ, are we thinking she wants to resurrect Cora?

This sounds interesting. I like it

O___O Never even thought of that. But since this season of WL is taking place with S2 of ONCE, then Cora isn’t dead yet–this would only be around 203 or so of ONCE.

RG, she probably thinks Cora is dead. Remember she faked her death with Hook.

I was going to say the knave but she knows now that he is indeed alive.

Now, that would be twisted, especially when you consider in the Disney movie, he wanted to marry Jasmine.

Maybe Agrabah is the OUAT equivalent of backwoods Kentucky? Besides, Jafar only wanted to marry her because she was a princess. Maybe Aladdin is the prince here and Jafar/Jasmine are street rats and Jasmine uses a genie to get to marry the price Aladdin, but she dies in the palace when his tiger pet attacks. I dunno. Crackin here…

If Red Queen does indeed want to bring Cora back… And it works… I think she is going to be very pissed with Rumpel and Snow. Enough to maybe travel to NL. I’d love to see some magical battle 🙂
