Not sure why we don’t have a thread for this yet

Why can’t Felix hear the pipes? According to PP only boys who are unloved/unwanted can hear the pipes. Does this mean that Felix had a loving family at one point? Then why is he with PP?

My current headcanon is that Felix had a very loving family but that he went with Peter out of loyalty–they were best friends and Peter didn’t want to go to NL alone. However this doesn’t explain why Felix comes across as being just as deranged and demonic like as Peter.

    What are your thoughts?

He didn’t hear it? Couldn’t remember it.
Well that might be an excellent question. Somehow I’m hoping we get a Felix flashback one time. Would be great if they would show how he become Pan’s right hand.

Maybe Felix feels wanted and loved by Pan, in a friend way >>

Very Wacky Theory time: Felix was not abandoned by his family, he left his to avoid his responsibility to them.

Emma was a teen mother. Felix is older than the others.    I am curious if any of the lost boys or PP are parents who ran away from their kids rather than being abandoned by theirs.  It is just a crazy head-canon I have that Pan if not an older brother is the youth of Rumple’s father, in a sort of Dorian gray thing with his shadow.  He turned the clock back, but that is too wacky.  But a teen father who ran away rather than step up? Who wanted to be a boy and play, that totally fits with the theme of not wanting to grow up.  PP in the original is pretty dense about romantic love, and despite playing dad to Wendy’s mom, it kind of is not his fantasy at all.  Then in the original book, Mrs Darling talks about Mr Darling having put his dreams aside for his children.  I am simplifying of course.

This is partially PoM fault for bringing up RegalCat, but maybe Felix is the odd one out b/c he is a bit experienced and less kid like.  It could be younger siblings too, but I think Felix left rather than being left.

That would be very ONCE twisty

We haven’t seen too many of the Lost Boys but it does appear like Felix is the most self confident and self assured. Except when he had to go and tell Peter that he lost Nealfire. He looked really ashamed, like he had let Peter down. But I don’t think Felix was scared that Peter would hurt him (I’m starting to doubt that the scar on his face was given to him by Peter) but rather he was scared that Peter would loose faith in him. He even trusts Peter enough to let Peter’s new favorite toy, Henry, shoot Felix (though obviously Henry had other ideas)

I think that is a very plausible theory. Felix is not a boy nor is he lost. He seems older and even sadistically happy to serve Pan out of fidelity. In a twisted way, he seem genuinely happy to be there because he chooses to be, not because Pan forces him to be.

This might sound rather sick and twisted but if PP didn’t cut Felix’s face then did Felix do it himself? As a sign of faith or loyalty in PP?

(yeah that’s a little too dark for ONCE most likely) But if Peter didn’t do it?

    –Another lost boy?

    –The shadow?

@Sabrina4Jesus good catch Sabrina. I can't talk about it but Felix certainly wasn't dancing with the other lost boys.

Here are some images from the final dancing scene in Nasty Habits. Keep an eye on Felix

What if Felix is Rumpels brother :O it could be. And Pan took him away when Rumpel was young.

Did somebody catch if Felix was slso dancing with Baelfire 300 years ago?

Maybe Felix will not be longer a lost boy, but is afraid of the others, when he will go (What will happen when Pan is in rage) and what he should do when he goes (Being alone without somebody is frighten thought) and if he even can leave?
