Reply To: Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

I just wished they allowed Swanfire to play out without the love triangle. They had some very sweet and tender moments in S2. Putting Henry to bed, saving Rumple from Cora, The Dinner. Those moments are seared in memory.  They just flow together and you can see them growing old together and still having that same sass as if they were young!  If the writers intend on making Neal and Emma be each others true love. It would be nice to watch them start to rebuild their relationship in Neverland by working together to save Henry. Even if they were not meant to be it would have been nice to watch them play out on screen and discovered that they are better off as best friends and co parents of Henry.

Deep down I think the writers always intended for Neal and Emma to be each other true love but I don’t like saying I’m certain about this. And my fear is the writers will change it, because S2 I was  quite certain they were going the direction of Swanfire. I mean they started the season with Nealfire walking down the street getting a post card saying Broken. Just like in S1 we had our introduction of Emma who is sassy bond’s lady taking down a criminal. S1 ended with her providing her son, Henry with true loves kiss. And S2 ended with them screaming I love you(s) to each other? Even in the S3 pre-show we had A &E talk about Emma’s and Neal’s love for each other and how they are free to love each other openly again? They didn’t mention Captain Swan once in the preshow. And then the Love triangle just came about over the summer?

I mean If they didn’t want Emma and Neal together I see no point of having Neal proclaiming his enduring love for Emma. Or hype up their enduring feelings for each other after 11 years over S2. Also Hook/Colin was suppose not go past Season 3. So I don’t see why Captain Swan was always planned for endgame if his contract was suppose to be up in Season 3?? Unlike the others cast members. It seems like this story is about Emma, Henry, Nealfire, Rumple, Regina, Snow, and Charming. I don’t see how Hook really factors into that storyline no more than a rival turn sometimes ally? Also its silly but Hook is well know character, I can’t see them linking Emma to a well know story book character as her true love. I think the fact that Neal, Emma and Henry are original creations means something. I don’t know I guess I’m rambling now. LOL
