    Ana’s mother looks a lot like Lady Tremaine, does she not? What do you think? Is Ana Ella’s step sister?

    Yep. I previously theorized that Anastasia was one of Cinderella’s step-sisters, since that is the name of one of them in the Disney film. Her appearance and dialogue also further suggest this might be the case.

    Really hope that Ana is Ella’s step-sister. Sounded like it especially the way her mother said “bucket”.  It sent red flags to my attention about Ana being Ella’s sister.

    Ana’s mother also said that Ana had sisters, so we know Ana has at least two more siblings.

    Yeah, I’m going to go with Ella’s step sister.

    As I said in the chat, Anastasia in the Disney film DID have a rather poor love interest. In Cinderella 2, Ana defies her mother to be with a baker, one Lady Tremaine clearly looks down upon. I’m very convinced that Ana is the stepsister.

    The shots of Tremaine and her daughters aren’t completely clear, and don’t forget recasting isn’t a new thing. We went through recasting with Robin Hood already, and it’s not out of the question to recast roles that only appeared for a few brief seconds.
