Tonight we saw the Shadow and that it does not belong to Peter Pan (Malcolm). It is the only inhabitant of Neverland, where children go in their dreams. To whom does the shadow really belong?

That is the question of the hour. I wonder if the Shadow isn’t just symbolic of evil in general…like the Shadow is an entity born of children’s nightmares or something like that. That or….Sneaky Fairy has something to do with its creation. Also, is the shadow we saw in 3×7 really PP’s or was it the Shadow we saw in 3×8, which seems to just be an entity unto itself?

The Shadow is the only inhabitant of NL and I don’t think he necessarily embodies all evil. I think having an adult on NL caused the shadow to go darker.
What if just embodies the place where dreams go to?
I think the Shadow is like the guardian of NL and it is neither evil nor good, it simply exists. It tells children what NL is and how long they can stay and the other rules. But will it help or hurt our heroes now.
You would have to think that the Shadow doesn’t like Pan being there. I mean PP basically destroyed his home.
I’m still holding on for Chernabog. Who scared the bejabbers out of me as a child.

I agree. I think the Shadow is going to be more helpful to our heroes than we’ve been thinking.
But does this mean that the shadow we saw in 221, who to Bae, was not THE SHADOW but Pan’s shadow?
But last episode Neal and Emma said that they caught PAN’s shadow?
That is what I am thinking RG. The shadow that was taking children looked like Pan’s and not The Shadow. I believe The Shadow is taking his sweet time waiting to get PP off his island to return things to the status quo.
The Shadow also looked like a man.

Agreed. Pan’s shadow was the one who was kidnapping Children, not THE shadow. THE shadow was more than happy to let children come to NL in their dreams. And I think THE shadow really hates Malcolm Pan.
