(x) I think we need context. It could just be a matter of interpretation about whether a hug is romantic or not. For all we know, Hook could be helping Emma find her family and he’s giving her a reassuring hug because she’s visibly distressed. There could be a million and one reasons why Emma is at a police station. Maybe she’s trying to find a missing person, maybe she’s investigating a crime. Who knows?
