You will never convince me that Neal’s “Believe in Second Chances” poster wasn’t a real one. I don’t care who says it or what they do with it…that poster was never claimed to be created by anyone in the fandom and at one point, Adam did confirm it was real (which has always stuck with me). I think ABC chickened out on using it because they want their Hook angle and showing anything like that for Neal would disrupt their current marketing strategy. I really wish they would get their nose out of OUAT and let Adam & Eddie tell their stories without the marketing push for something they may or may not have planned this season.
AGREED!
The post is essentally arguing that: if we were use symbology… *ahem* something that happens on this show *ahem*
David’s Poison = Emma’s endgame ship
Hook’s cure = temporary and immediate. Enough to last to #SaveHenry
Neal’s Cure/Solution = the forever fixer, guaranteed to keep “David” safe and alive forever
No idea if it carries any weight but I found it interesting and least better than groaning over internet hoards and their rumor mills
If you click the link and check the post, it was actually written by a CSer, who ends the post with, “And I call myself a Captain Swan shipper… I should be ashamed of myself… (This did start with the thought, “Aww… both sides of the triangle are contributing to her daddy’s cure,” and then quickly descended into, “Uh oh…”).” So it didn’t even start out being written from a SF biased viewpoint. Obviously I DO have a biased viewpoint, so it just sounds like a perfectly logical explanation to me, but the fact that it was written by someone who has the opposing ship view makes it an all the more interesting analysis to me.
