I really don’t understand this whole shipper hate thing. It’s a bit ridiculous! As much as I love ONCE, I do realize that it’s just a show. It’s for entertainment. I don’t like the idea of generalizing people that support one couple over another. If someone does or says something completely out of line for the sake of a fictional couple, I think that says more about the individual than the actual fanbase of that couple. Just sayin’. I don’t mind the fact that some people don’t like CaptainSwan. You like what you like! For instance, my friend loves Swanfire and, obviously, I love CaptainSwan. It’s actually fun to be able to repectfully disagree a little bit. It’s sort of like cheering on two rival sports teams. We may not agree on who the better couple is, but at the end of the day, we know it’s a show that has no real effect on our everyday lives other than just being an AWESOME show! The fact that there are so many different opinions and perspectives is exactly what makes things interesting. If everyone agreed on everything I’m pretty sure I’d be like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! Haha! 🙂
