Forgot to mention that I love that Tumblr pic too with Emma staring right at Neal as her father hugs her. Somehow I totally missed that in the actual episode! Really nice moment and I agree with you guys about hoping we get more of these moments between them.
That’s why Tumblr is such a great tool; people find things we might miss.
There was a scene in 308 where Emma is getting ready to leave and the camera pans (ha) in between two people so that you see Hook watching Emma and Neal get ready to go and Hook almost looks like he wants to stop her and tag along but then thinks better of it. But the other thing there is that Emma doesn’t really give him much of a second thought. She doesn’t need to look at him or watch him or have any kind of heartfelt goodbye. Hook’s not her radar when she doesn’t require information.
