Emma seems off her lie-detecting lately because she’s been emotional (she missed Wendy for example, maybe Rumple just had faster reaction but seemed like she wasn’t reacting).
I think his thinking tree is the the pixie dust tree. We know they get tied to a tree from the promo, so it COULD be a trap.
I kind of expect some last skirmish of some sort rather than the earnest appeal approach working because NL has just been so dark and twisted. I guess we have to see.
