this is still about my theory that some dark forces want Rumpel to be a proper dark one, and that under all that dark one mask he is just a hero fighting off this curse. he was almost losing the struggle until he met Belle who pulled him out of the losing battle and helped him keep fighting. dark forces or pan’s shadow or whomever didn’t like it so made a deal with Regina to kill Belle, but for some reason Regina thought Belle could be more useful alive. that same someone must have sent Mad Hatter to kill Belle, but he freed her instead because it served his own purpose. then hook was sent to kill her, and he almost succeeded, in fact he turned her into something worse than if she’d only died, so he and Regina were forgiven by those dark forces – after all lacy was great at making Rumpel dark again…

He wouldn’t want any sort of clues laying around that could potentially ruin his reign of terror in the New SB. in the shots for 312 we see Hook with a blue potion that might be some sort of memory cure if Emma has lost her memories.
It depends largely on if Blue comes back to life or not in 311.

I agree with you RG – I think killing Blue had more to do with getting rid of anyone who could restore memories. Remember there was a spoiler pic of Pinnochio’s hat… the potion was made from something from Pinnochio after he turned back into a child, right? Perhaps Pinnochio is next on Pan’s hit list…
