So in a GIANT TWIST, Emma has a new life in NYC in which she never gave up Henry but no longer has her memories.
What is the other part of her life story?
Who is Henry’s father?
Who does she think her family is?

Especially revolving around Henry’s father because we all know it is in fact Neal, but Neal went back to the Enchanted Forest? How does that even work? What does Emma remember about conceiving Henry? Neal goes back to the EF and it seems like everything about FTL is wiped out from our realm so how would Emma concieve Henry? Or are they just fake memories that Regina gave them and it is all wiped clean and Emma thinks Henry has a different father?
Ok I’m rambling, my mind is spinning right now. I need another re-watch….:(
I’m so confused.
She has to think that Neal is still Henry’s father right? They wouldn’t randomly change that? But he’s in the EF with everyone else. Does this mean Neal never went to NL? Or that he came back? If he has HIS memories then HIS history hasn’t changed. Which means Henry is still his son but Emma thinks it’s someone else?

Everything that happened up until Pan’s curse still happened (i.e. Neal and Emma lived together, she went to jail, she had Henry) but Regina’s happy ending for her meant that she and Henry have false memories of a lifetime together after she was released from prison. In other words, nothing did not happen but Emma and Henry just don’t remember it. Neal went back to EF with the rest of them when Regina rewrote Pan’s curse.
It’s just the most straightforward way to look at it. The most logical and easiest for moving the plot forward. Otherwise there’s too many t-word conundrums and temporal impossibilities.

that does make sense. So she just thinks that Neal is out in our world somewhere living his life not knowing about their son, and she’s fine with it.

By Emma’s Tamara do you mean a guy who fell in love with her after purposely spilling coffee on himself who secretly works for an organization against magic and fairy tales?

also Regina did not know Emma’s history so she just gave Emma ten years of Henry time. Hey here’s a thought. what if most of that was actually stuff that Regina and Henry did together that now Emma has emmories of? That would be interesting.
Also one more thought: all other times of implanted emmory (2) we have seen via enchanted object.

Also I thought it was really noble of Regina to do that instead of making Henry and Emma purposely unahppy together which she could have easily done.
