I think I remember a reference to my fave Disney princess, Jasmine, showing up on either Once Upon a Time or Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. But with so much Jafar and Agrabah in Wonderland, I can’t help but wonder if we’ll see Aladdin on either show. –Audrey
Not sure where you saw said “reference,” but delete that bookmark, pronto. Presented with the idea of Jasmine or Aladdin showing up on either Once series, EP Eddy Kitsis assured me, “That is not true.” So don’t pack your bags for Vancouver just yet, Azita and Sendhil!

Would you know what the Wicked Witch’s name is on Once Upon a Time? There’s some speculation that it’s Elphaba (from the Wicked musical) while others think it’s Theodora (from the Disney-owned Oz, The Great and Powerful). Also, It seems that all the major villains in the show so far are related to Henry. Will the Wicked Witch be related to him as well? –Natalie
As a matter of fact, I address both those questions, my pretty, in the upcoming installment of Spoiler Alert!, posting Saturday.

Aladdin and Jasmine not being in OUATW could mean that they will turn up in a later season of Once which in turn means they have a perfect opportunity to introduce Jafar to the proper Once.

I’m already baking you some. I fully expect her to be called Theodora.

Maybe she’ll be Glinda. She started as a good witch but then became the wicked witch. “Evil isn’t born. It’s made”

Yep, I’d say that’s a fair bet. I wonder if they might use Jasmine and Aladdin as a way to bring back some Ariel and Eric too, considering they had Eric mention having gone to Agrabah, so maybe their stories can connect up somehow. (Might be wishful thinking, I just really hope we get more Ariel at some point, somehow.)

Can’t wait for the WWW spoilers! I’d guess that Elphaba isn’t really an option for her name because legal issues. Theodora is likely, considering that’s her name in the Disney movie. But if that’s too recent and they wanna keep their own version separate, perhaps the theory of her being mashed up with Cruella could prove true.

That would be great. I’d love to have Jafar on ONCE proper

    Top choices:

    1) Theodora

    2) Cruella

    3) Dorothy (mash up of WWW and Dorothy)

    4) Glinda
