In episode 103, when Snow White meets Prince Charming, she is carrying a necklace with magic fairy dust.

Snow White: Careful! It’s a weapon.

Prince Charming: Dust? What kind of weapon is dust?

    Snow White: Fairy dust.

Prince Charming: I thought that was a good thing?

Snow White: When it comes from a good fairy. This stuff? Is deadly. It transforms the most fearsome of adversaries into a form that’s easily squashed.

Prince Charming: Then why didn’t you use it on me?

Snow White: Cause you’re not worth it. It’s very hard to come by. I’m saving it for a special someone.

Could the evil fairy that gave Snow the magic dust be the Black Fairy?

    Neverland

When the Black Fairy had her wand taken by Blue, I think it is safe to say she was banished and also had her wings taken away. Perhaps, she was reduced to a “shadow” of her former self? The original Neverland shadow.

We know that Tinkerbelle ends up in Neverland. Perhaps, that is where banished fairies go?

Additionally, perhaps the Black Fairy is looking for revenge to restore power….perhaps, why the shadow assisted in having Peter Pan become Peter Pan. We also still don’t know how Pan knew about Henry–etc. Maybe the Black Fairy is really the one pulling the puppet strings and Sneaky Blue Fairy is also trying to do the same against the Black Fairy—hence her Sneakiness?

These 2 theories are obviously incompatible, but I think the Black Fairy could be involved in one of the 2 scenarios. Any thoughts?

I think it’s a very plausible idea, for sure. The only hitch is that the NL shadow we saw is much older than Snow White so for the Blue Fairy to have banished Black Fairy had to be long before Malcolm and Young Rumple ever went to NL. It’s not a huge detractor, it just means that Tink never knew the Black Fairy, she has only heard the story from other fairies.

    So tword wise:

    –Blue banishes Black Fairy

–Black Fairy becomes Shadow (with a man’s voice…hm. We need to consider that)

–Malcolm and Rumple go to NL, events of 308

–Regina marries Leopold and meets Tink

    –Tink is de-winged

    –Snow leaves the palace

    –Snow gets magic dust

    –Snow meets Charming

    I think it works.

What if the black fairy is a man?

Has it been said that all fairies are one gender (like the dwarves) or have we assumed the fairies are all women based on the fact that the only fairies we have seen so far have all been women?

Maybe the Black Fairy was Blue’s lover who possibly became the original Dark one?

All magic comes with a price!

I like it! My headcanon with the Blue Fairy and the Dark One’s Curse has always been something like this so I’m on board.

We don’t know if all fairies are female. How..are fairies born? Are we going traditional here with laughter and flowers?

Tink says, “The Blue Fairy exiled her, but before she did, she took her wand.”
