Here is a Picture from ‘the Millers Daughter’ ep of season 2.
Of “Regina” and Cora. The babys hair is red… So here is my thing- Why use a redheaded baby to play baby Regina when she is a dark brunette is an adult?
It could be bad casting. But it also could be.. Da da dah daahh!!!- The Baby is really THE WICKED WITCH :O
So in present day Wicked is envious and angry with Regina because she “stole” her life and what could have been her wickedly awsome wardrobe-
So Regina is a Changeling- thats something for the fairytales. Maybe Rumple switched her and Wicked when they were “more portable” without Coras knowing for some reason. Or perhabs Cora gave Wicked Regina baby away and got our Regina instead.. and then also named her Regina :/ thats a bit crack, but hey she was that, a crackpot.. so wouldnt put it passed her.

Keeper of FelixAnd later in the scene where Rumple meets Cora outside and finds out she ripped out her own Heart. He is angry and reminds her of their contract- he will take her baby he says. But Cora reminds him they’ve changed the contract and he can only take his own child- But would our Rumple really walk away from this? She fooled him. He would not have liked that.
He could have come back to the Castle after Cora had her baby and changed it with another.
And here comes some more crazy crackiness to this theory: Rumple changed Coras Little redheaded Regina with Evas first born baby wich she had with her true love Prince Henry, illegitimately(Im not in to the whole age difference buisness, so please tell me if this doesnt work for that reason) He put a spell on the baby so Cora wouldnt notice she looked different, and she never found out. Rumple planned to reveal this to her one day when he could rub it in her face what her real child had become- A green envious wicked peasant- just like Cora was.. Wich was everything she tried to get away from. And not a queen like she wanted (he had places Little baby Wicked somewhere, taught her magic and told her she was really the rightfull Queen) Instead Rumple had put Evas child in her place, Eva whom Cora hates, and Cora had raised that child to become queen – Hah! thats some twisted revenge for you right there. Just in Rumples spirit 🙂
Also this Places our Regina as Snow Whites half sister. Potential development of some fun sister relationship there.. And for anyone who remembers the text pieces from Henrys fairytalebook- more ground for the ‘SnowWhite and RoseRed’ fairytale.
We have the story of the two new babies comin up. The Snowing baby and the Sleeping beauty baby, wich will then paralell the flashback story of baby Regina and baby Wicked.

Regina being Snow White’s half sister mean Regina married her step-father and consummated the marriage with him so I’d rather not have Regina be Eva’s child.

The only thing is, I think “rose red” and “snow” sort of touched on with Ruby and Snow ‘s story as they were kind of “sisters” and while no transformed bears who really were Princes….Ruby did shapeshift. Plus in SW &RR, there’s sort of an element that both girls like the bear and the one who doesn’t ends up with him romantically and the other marries his twin brother. Well..James is dead of course but Snow did have a little fun time with Whale and it seemed like Ruby Red might have been getting closer to him….
I absolutely agree that Rumple wouldn’t have given up so easily but I feel like Regina really is Henry Sr. ‘s bio daughter, with how they casted it. But it could be interesting if we find out Cora knew she wasn’t at one point and just (being heartless) didn’t care–she’d raised Regina to be Queen, and little ” green wicked” wasn’t suitable for that purpose.

(Me answering, so not quote 🙂 ): Yes I know, but I feel they need to put more emphasis on that fairytale when they included it as one of only two fairytale text in the book. The Ruby/Snow story was more of a side story, in my opinion.

Lets not forget Cora and Rumpel had a big magical battle. We don’t yet know why or how this was. Perhaps it was a battle over the baby? Maybe she caught him trying to kidnap the child and went full mama bear. Just throwing it out there.

Keeper Of Tamara's Taser , Jafar's Staff, Kitsis’s Glasses , Ariel’s Tail, Dopey's Hat , Peter Pan’s Shadow, Outfit, & Pied Cloak,Red Queen's Castle, White Rabbit's Power To World Hop, Zelena's BroomStick, & ALL MAGICI’ve had this exact same theory for weeks, and I’m so happy I’m not the only one who thinks Regina and WWW may have been a changelings switched at birth by Rumplestiltzkin with the help of a dark fairy. Wikipedia describes one of the symptoms of a changeling is greenish complexion.
1. When Regina first met Rumple, he told her. “I know everything about you. I held you in my arms..you were younger, more….portable”. That phrase was emphasized, and it’s a phrase everyone remembers him saying…more portable. That word, portable means he carried Regina from one place to another. He took Regina from one mother and brought her to Cora. Portable could also be a play on words meaning he took her through a portal (from Oz?) to Cora.
2. Considering Cora literally had no heart, I would assume there might be ramifications to her offspring..like a green baby..Cora May have even agreed to the switch and let Rumple or dark fairy hide her green daughter. And what better place to hide a green baby than a land without color, where green cannot be seen.
3. We all know that WWW has settled into Regina’s castle, even wears Regina’s clothes. Why would she have a vendetta against Regina so deep that she would take over her kingdom as if it were her own? I think WWW has returned to Enchanted Forest and Storybrooke to take back the life that was taken from her.
Now to Rumple, in whatever state he’s in. Rumple is a planner, a long term planner, who sees the future, or bits of the future. He spent many years preparing for the curse, preparing Regina to enact the curse. It’s possible that Rumple saw the future beyond the curse. When he made his original deal with Cora to take her firstborn in exchange for spinning gold, Rumple told Cora that her child was important to him. If Cora’s firstborn was the WWW, then Rumple knew the WWW would be important to him in the future. In whatever state he’s in, WWW will be an important piece in Rumple’s long term plan.
