I seem to have a lot of unanswered Wonderland questions which I hope a lot of them will answered during the last 5 episodes of the season. Some are just fun to theorize about. I’m creating a thread under each episode with these questions. Feel free to add your questions, answers, theories, etc. regarding this episode. Have fun! I can’t wait till March!
Unanswered Questions for WL 1×08 – “Home”
1. Does the 3rd genie have to be Cyrus or does Will count?
2. Cyrus was once human. How did become a genie? Did he become a genie by trying to free a previous genie?
3. Is Cyrus’s mom still alive?
4. Will RQ really become Ana again or will she revert back?
5. Where does the river & waterfall in the Outlands lead? Will Knave still be in WL or another world?
6. Who will find the bottle first?
7. What will Jafar do once he finds out that RQ is still alive & that Cyrus is free?
8. What happens to the Lost & Found compass?
9. Will Knave ever forgive Ana?
10. Will we ever see Aladdin & Jasmine?
11. Since Rabbit can dig magic portal holes and his wife is good at healing, do their kids have some kind of special skill to?

I think it’s just the genie of the bottle, who is currently Will.

This was the headcanon I came up with after 108 aired.
Long ago Jasmine and Aladdin fell in love and got married and ruled Agrabah. Aladdin and Jasmine had a son, Cyrus. Aladdin also still had his Genie and one final wish left. One day Jasmine fell very ill and was near death. Aladdin decided to use his wish to save Jasmine but the cost of the wish was that Cyrus was made into the new genie of the bottle.
3. Is Cyrus’s mom still alive?
No. I think once she died the compass stopped working
4. Will RQ really become Ana again or will she revert back?
I don’t think anyone can ever become who they once were. Regina, Rumple, Hook, Ana…they will always carry their deeds with them. Doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve a second chance though.
6. Who will find the bottle first?
Jafar. Extra drama
9. Will Knave ever forgive Ana?
Yes
10. Will we ever see Aladdin & Jasmine?
Yes, flashback.

Mentioned the theory I like in one of your other threads, but I’d love it if Amara is his mother and when she gained magic, something she did resulted in Cyrus becoming a genie.
5. Where does the river & waterfall in the Outlands lead? Will Knave still be in WL or another world?
Could be fun if he ends up back in SB. We know that water connects worlds, so he could potentially end up anywhere.

If Will does end up back in SB then I think it has to be around the same time that Snow and Emma were making their way home to SB. So everyone is distracted–watching over Charming, Rumple and Regina are at the well and eventually Ruby. Then everyone is back at Rumple’s shop. Everyone is so busy and that’s why no one notices Alice and Cyrus in SB (I assume coming out of a Rabbit hole). In fact I expect that if it does play out like that, we’ll see our characters running one way out of town, while Cyrus and Alice narrowly miss them as they go somewhere else.

Maybe there’s something to do with the portal in Lake Nostos that he somehow gets sucked in, (like, he’s already floating between worlds and gets swept into the portal as it forms), and ends up floating at the bottom of the well, and Cylice find him there?

Oh that’s a good one. Like you said, water connects worlds. and we know that Meghan Ory’s body double was recently on set, wearing the same fur coat she was wearing in 209, QoH

1. Does the 3rd genie have to be Cyrus or does Will count?
Answer: According to 1×12, the 3rd genie didn’t have to Cyrus.
2. Cyrus was once human. How did become a genie? Did he become a genie by trying to free a previous genie?
Answer: According to 1×10, Cyrus and his 2 brothers took water from the Well of Wonders to heal their mom. Nyx said to return the stolen water & Cyrus refused. After healing their mom, Nyx paid them a visit and turned all 3 brothers into genies as punishment.
3. Is Cyrus’s mom still alive?
Answer: According to 1×10, Cyrus’s mom is Amara, the snake staff. In 1×12, she somehow became no longer the staff. In 1×13, she returned to the Well of Wonders to “return” the water that healed her, breaking her sons’ curse.
4. Will RQ really become Ana again or will she revert back?
Answer: She became Ana again through out the last 5 episodes.
5. Where does the river & waterfall in the Outlands lead? Will Knave still be in WL or another world?
Answer: According to 1×9, the water remained in WL.
6. Who will find the bottle first?
Answer: According to 1×9, Lizard found Will’s bottle along the river bank.
7. What will Jafar do once he finds out that RQ is still alive & that Cyrus is free?
Answer: According to 1×9, Jafar went and found & released the Jabberwocky to help him find the location of the bottle. When Liz died and Ana found the bottle, the Jabberwocky got into Ana’s head and found it’s location.
8. What happens to the Lost & Found compass?
Answer: According to 1×11, Cyrus & Alice stole it back from the Caterpillar by having Alice shrink down to find it. Cyrus created a distraction.
9. Will Knave ever forgive Ana?
Answer: According to 1×11, Ana asked for Will’s forgiveness and he gave it to her. They had TLK.
10. Will we ever see Aladdin & Jasmine?
Answer: No, at least not on OUATWL.

I made a general thread for unanswered questions awhile back. These could be posted in there 😉
Your thread started way after I had created these, Obisgirl. I had created one for each episode for 1 – 8 in Dec-Jan. And now I have added answers to some of those questions that I received from Ep 9 – 13. I had received very little response or discussion at the time except from mostly Phee & RG, which I was grateful for. :o) I thought it would have been a fun way to pass the time during the hiatus and get everyone excited about the last 5 episodes. I guess I missed the mark on that idea. If you want, I can copy them all into your thread. Let me know. :o)
