Question: Once Upon a Time‘s Josh Dallas recently tweeted a picture of “Jason our boom operator” still in Neverland. Does this mean we could be getting flashbacks of Tink, Hook or Neal in relation to Neverland? –Amy
Ausiello: Sorry, but series cocreator Eddy Kitsis says there are no plans to revisit Neverland, in any timeline, during the back half of Season 3. Should we send out a search party for Jason? (In other Once news… somebody’s about to die!!!)

So not even in Flashbacks?? Like….ever? But…so many unanswered things!

So infuriating!! I am not satisfied in the slightest by the conclusion of 3A. So many unanswered things. Can’t believe we didn’t find out why Pan had the picture of Henry, amongst a ton of other stuff! They didn’t conclude the Tamara/destroying magic storyline and now I feel Neverland hasn’t been wrapped up either.

I think they key part of the sentence is that they don’t intend to revisit Neverland during the back half of Season 3. They may revisit it during season 4. We still haven’t found out how Mulan and Aurora got Philip’s soul back, and that was during season 2 (I think we’ll find out during 3B and it’ll tie into what happened to Rumple).

All magic comes with a price!

That’s a good point. They might.

There are quite a few plot holes that I really need cleared up in regards to NL, so I hope something happens. Even if it’s a limited 6 episode web series.

Some remaining history of Neverland would be nice to know, but let’s be honest, does the current storyline require us to go back to it? It could easily be saved for another Season. I think after spending half a Season in Neverland, the writers are simply want to take a break from it. Like POM said, there are several unanswered questions from past Seasons that still haven’t been addressed on top of Neverland.

I think when you think of the number of unexplained plot points still open and the number answered with a really lame reason–I am not holding my breath.  They may as well start writing things like this:

Regina: Wicked, why are you doing this?
    Wicked: For reasons.

They came up with some pretty silly things and didn’t bother to explain how any of it happened.  It’s like the Taser thing–the writers just want to have a magical doohickey they will and we all wonder what it means and they get upset we pick it apart.  They’re not writing a deep story so I don’t think there will be explanations 🙁

“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?” -- Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

I’m getting so profoundly tired of magic doodads that do nothing after they are introduced.

It is like the big answer for anything left is oh it was magic. Um yeah the show is about magic but I want the Hogwarts explanation. I want my own version of the storybook.

I wanna see how NL became dark.
I wanna see how Pan trapped Wendy and enslaved her brothers.
I wanna see how Tink knew Pan well enough to be able to find and get into his camp, (he must have trusted her, so what’s their history).
I wanna know how Tink got to NL in the first place.
I wanna know what “dirty work” Hook did for Pan, (they cannot just drop a line like that in there and not do anything with it!).
I wanna see how Bae live in NL, (how did he end up in the cave, how did he really escape, did Pan let him go?).

So I guess if there’s another Hook centric in S3B, it won’t involve his time in NL at all. A Hook-centric with no reference to NL would feel odd, especially in this season.

I do think a hypothetical mini series for Neverland would be the best way to explain a lot of this. One issue in general is that aside from Hook, the other Neverland characters (Teen Bae’s actor isn’t a regular) aren’t regulars on Once Upon A Time, and they have a limited amount of centric episodes for each of the regulars per Season. The other issue is that they would need to somehow relate the events of the flashback to the present day storyline of each episode.
