I guess we can just agree to disagree on this for a million different reasons. I hardly think Belle would move on (a) within a year of Gold’s death (I don’t think she’d move on ever, at all) and (b) with his son….but anyway, different strokes for different folks
Um, Belle thinking of Neal like a step son is not laughable; that comment was unnecessary. Emilie said it, so maybe you should tweet that to her? The point isn’t that Belle would be like a mommy to him, but she has been devoted to him for decades and yes I think she loves him…….because he’s the son of the man she loves (and eventually she’ll love him for who he is once she gets to know him, though it SUCKS royally that she/he are going to forget their bonding once they get back to SB). The point is that Belle’s feelings for Neal are never going to be romantic – nor will his be for her. IMO, he needs a maternal figure in his life and a friend……she can serve as both.
