What if the twist on Rapunzel isn’t that she has been locked in the tower… But she is HIDING in the tower? Like, from some kind if creepy, Grudge-esque, creature. And Charming (fleeing the same beast?) finds his way into her tower and together he breaks her out….
Also, Rapunzel could have been trapped in the region where Cora’s bubble affected (just putting that out there)
