I noticed that one of Ana’s fears which the Jabberwocky mentioned is Ana not having love. The Jabberwocky mentioned that Ana thinks that if the prince had chosen her over her step-sister, then her mother would have loved Ana. I’m going to take that as confirmation that Ana’s step-sister is indeed Cinderella and that the prince in question is Prince Thomas.

100% agreed. Kudos to those who called it back in the first half of the season.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"query: since we saw the Jabberwocky mention Ella does that mean that we will see that backstory cause with only three episodes left I hope not. I think it would be a waste to do it since we know more about Anastasia Will and Jafar then we know about Alice herself.

That was an interesting clue in there. I’ll admit, I was very skeptical at first that Ana was one of the step-sisters from Cinderella but it certainly feels like maybe she is.
The thing about Anastasia and love — I think Ana is the type of person, where she is hollow without love in her life. It’s probably something she realized very quickly after becoming the Red Queen. She had all this power but she didn’t have love and probably felt that she couldn’t return to her old life because she didn’t deserve to be with Will.
If she is Cinderella’s step-sister, maybe Anastasia felt after she left to marry the Prince that her mother was disappointed in her for not winning the prince’s heart and being miserable, thought that her mother didn’t love her. But she found love with Will but she realized after arriving in Wonderland, even that wasn’t enough and thus, the need to find a better, easier way to make life better for herself.
