    Well well well. @WickedRegal was right: Regina and Zelena are half sisters.

    But…who is the father? Rumple? The Wizard? someone else?

    I don’t think it’s Rumple – she already said that she met him and she was just his student but he chose Regina instead. If he knew she was Cora’s daughter and he was the father I can’t see him abandoning another child after what happened with Bae.

    THE WIZARD is Zelena’s father!

    Zelena cast the curse by sacrificing her father’s heart….

    Explains why the Wizard of Oz wanted the Wicked Witch dead…she wanted his heart…

    Yes, I agree WR–the wizard—it would explain why she lived in Oz as well. Ahhhh, I am so happy Wicked Sisters is right!

    Whoever it is, I think Zelena killed her father to enact the Curse–just like Regina did in S1.

    So whoever her father is, he’s dead. Therefore, not Leo or Rumple.

    Smart money is on the Wizard who raised her in Oz.

    well it would go in the Wicked-verse canon and can they do that? have the wicked witch be the daughter of the wizard of oz without making it look like they completely stole maguire’s idea? which is why i sorta wanted her to be rumples daughter.

    Magic always comes with a price, so I pay with visa.

    I doubt it’ll be Rumple.

    My preference would be that her father is the Wizard, who was a sham magician in a circus that passed through Cora’s village, and he charmed her and she fell for him, then he left and she discovered she was pregnant.

    I’m with Phee. The Wizard conned his way around and had a quick affair with Cora and she got pregnant with Zelena. Cora sends the baby off to Oz and she by some twist of fate is raised by her real dad, whether she knew it was him or not.

    I have a horrible feeling it’s going to be Rumple. If it is, then he couldn’t have known. He’s loyal to his family. He literally moved worlds to find one child. He wouldn’t do that at the expense of another. It will be retcon and we’ll hate it but I can see Adam and Eddy thinking it’s brilliant. Just no.

    Zelena is trying to embody Regina in all things–that includes the way she cast the curse, using the heart of her father.

    Therefore it can’t be anyone still alive–Rumple, Leo, ect. My money is on the Wizard.
