Zelena reveals that she grew up in Oz and that Rumple was her teacher and now she is holding him captive (grrrrr)
Why is she holding him hostage? What does she want? did Rumple cast the curse?
How long did Rumple and Zelena work together? And why did he give up on her?

I LOVE that he’s insane cause it’ll be so entertaining (though there’s a bit of Hamlet in the situation – is he actually mad or just acting mad? My money is on acting mad. That way she thinks he’s just an insane imp she has control over.) I’m just worried that if he IS actually crazy again how will that affect how he is with Belle and Neal?

Rumpelstiltskin taught Zelena, but saw that she was wicked and wanted power just like her mother so he thought she might be too dangerous to teach magic lest she end up like Cora and never be redeemed. or maybe he saw that she is too evil to ever be redeemed…?
so he went to Regina, he chose her because he saw she was a kind hearted girl EVEN though her mother had no heart… so he decided to use HER to cast his curse instead of Zelena. so this way he thought he could change fate. change the fact that Zelena was fated to cast a curse and take that curse that was ANYWAY fated to happen and have someone kindhearted llike Regina cast it so that she would be able to break it. as someone who has USED the scroll already, she DOES have that power…
so he created a savior – Emma, and he created a curse breaker – Regina.
he later did everything in his power to bring Regina Back to the kindhearted woman she used to be. he gave her a child to adopt (and he knew better than anyone how much the love for a child brings out the best in a person who is really good inside) he gave her countless opportunities to save Emma, Snow, Henry all the residents of storybrooke etc. because he wanted to have her redeemed
tis is what I think…(btw, what did he mean you never should have brought me back? back from where?)
First of all, mad props to Bobby because that scene was so unsettling. I LOVE Rumple in full out malevolent imp form, and he had that same voice, but unhinged instead of his usual being in control, all while looking like a really roughed up Mr Gold, and it messed with my head.
I don’t think he’s faking, because he was acting like a crazy person even after she’d left. If he was faking, I think they’d have shown him drop the crazy facade when she walked out.
She’s got a grudge against him for having chosen Regina to cast the Curse, so now she’s relishing being the one in power.
But she’s also got a chip on her shoulder over having been an abandoned child, and with her mother dead now, she can’t hope to reconnect with her, so it wouldn’t surprise me if there’s some angle to do with Rumple and Neal and her trying to prevent that relationship from being healed that’s inspiring her as well.
Here we go again another abandoned child syndrome boy this theme is really getting old for me. 🙁 Why did it take her this long for revenge?
With that accent of the Witch’s I couldn’t understand hardly anything that she said to Regina in FTL. So I can’t comment to much but I do know that Rumple isn’t her father neither is Snow’s father Leo perhaps King George?
I do think Rumple is faking it in his cell he was like that before the original curse happened.
I think King George is Z father, and I think Cora fixed it so KG wife couldn’t have kids.
