Hook, Emma & Henry's Car Ride to SB

It occurred to me that Hook, Emma & Henry left NYC in the morning and arrived in SB after dark. The trip had to have been at least 9-10 hours long and they had to stop at least once or twice for gas, food & restroom breaks. Since Henry didn’t have his memories, what did they talk about while Henry was awake? Or did they just all sit in silence and Henry was glued to his video game. It’s not like Emma could have asked Hook about her parents & friends or his year in EF. I do wonder if Hook said under his breath at one point: “This scenery looks better then what it felt like the last time I came through here.” Or “This ride is more enjoyable then my last trip from NYC.” Considering the last trip he made from NYC to SB was in the back of Tamara’s dark moving truck!
