First, all hail Barbara Hershey!!!!!! (love her)

The relationship between Cor and Ana seems really similiar to that of Cora and Regina, except with Ana being a bit more willing. How do you think the relationship between Ana and Cora went from this point? Did they remain “friends”? And…did they kill the king?

I think they definitely killed the King. Cora’s plan all along for Regina was to kill King Leo–before Regina pushes her in the mirror she talking about how the “the king is not a strong man.” Although, Cora taught the Red Queen I think Cora was the “real” power in Wonderland and influenced Ana to be the selfish queen she is. Cora, I think took Ana under her wing, and tried to use her to fill the emptiness inside her from Regina. I know Cora, didn’t have a heart but I still think she was “hurt” that Regina pushed her away “literally.” However, when Hook came to WL, I think Cora left without a good bye or any really thought to Ana. Then Ana was the ruler and then along came Jafar.

I totally agree with everything you just said, @KoffeeGirl

The second they met, Cora says “you’re the daughter I would have wished for” (paraphrasing) and I think she saw someone she could finally mold like wanted to with Regina. The problem was that Will still lived. Cora had to kill Daniel in order to bring Regina under her, but in this case, she had to break Ana in a different way–make Ana think that Will didn’t love her in the first place. And then tempt her with the magic.

I know we probably won’t see it, but I’d love to see more of their relationship over the years.

And that magic lesson had shades of Cora/Rumple, too. Really enjoyed how they wrote the Cora/Ana relationship.

Cora makes manipulation look so easy. Girlfriend was master of the poker face. She played them both so perfectly to get what she wanted out of them.

I would say Ana and Cora remained allies up until the time Cora left WL to return to EF with Hook. Also, I think that Cora killed the White King because Cora basically flat out told Ana he wasn’t long for this world.

Does anyone else think that the Red King tried to marry Cora when she first got to WL but was unsuccessful?

you know, for a while I thought Jafar was Zelena’s father, when Cora went to WL, but now they said Z was OLDER than Regina… so…

I loved Cora and Ana’s relationship… you know how Regina told Snow that Daniel ran off? Cora must have heard that and decided that was a much better way to kill love. so she tried it on Ana

There were so much parallels between Ana and Cora! Especially the scene when Ana was in her wedding dress and Will tried to convince her to leave with him. I also noticed that flashback Will’s leather jacket is really similiar to Rumple’s outfit.

It’s possible, but Cora said that men like the white king are intimidated by women like her. Also, the white king sounded completley adverse to magic, so I think he would be mostly opposed to Cora’s ways. Also, it sounded like the white king preferred younger women, as Ana looked young enough to be his adult daughter. He also had a wandering eye, based on the fact he used to sneak in his companions into the castle through the secret passage way in the dungeon. I don’t think he would have gone for Cora, who is his equal in age, and his superior in life experience and power.

I’m not entirely sure of Cora’s motives here except that maybe she saw a lot of herself in Ana and also that Ana would do what Regina would not.  Cora almost seemed as if she actually cared about Ana or at least dreamed of her success as if she were truly her daughter. Otherwise, why would Cora want to teach someone else to be like her?
