I have a theory that Rapunzel’s parents could be King Aruthur and Queen Guinevere. Rapunzel said she was princess of a kingdom but didn’t say which one. Perhaps it is Camelot. Why would the writers bother to show Rapunzel’s parents unless they were signifiant enough characters perhaps to bring back at a future date? Otherwise, Rapunzel’s reunion with her parents could have been done through exposition rather than by showing it. I was thinking also that Lanelot could one day figure back into the story, and perhaps fall in love with Rapunzel.

Interesting. When I was watching and she mentioned her older brother, I actually thought it *was* Lancelot and that the horrible thing that happened was his death via Cora (or something, we’re still not sure…)
But for the most part, given how they portrayed Rapunzel as a whole, I don’t think they are anybody except some other kingdom that exists somewhere. (seriously. how many are there????)
