if courage comes out when you face your deepest fears, then I’d say someone’s got to hide Rumplestiltskin’s gnarled old cane. His deepest fears was to be a coward like his father, and when he found out that Milah was going to have a baby, he faced that fear by injuring himself and being branded a coward for that.
