I agree that Snow, David and Emma are all owed an apology from Regina and Rumple for casting that terrible first curse. It’s utterly tragic what happened to their disrupted family. I think the Charmings sometimes do get the raw end of the deal. Yet no amount of apologizing is going to give them back what they lost: being together. It’s really sad, and I wish that there were communicating.
But Rumple and Regina have reformed. They’re not the same people they used to be. They finally did the selfless thing in 3×11. Rumple scarified his life to save everyone from Peter Pan. Regina blessed Emma and Henry with happy memories in which Emma never placed him for adoption. Sometimes actions speak a lot stronger than words. I think there has been a tremendous amount of growth between Snow and Regina as well in the Enchanted Forest. They’re allied together and working as a team. They’re even sharing a castle together and finally getting along as step-mom and step-daughter. So if Rumple and Regina are no longer the traditional villains, they might just get their happy endings.
