but did Neal explicitly say he sent the message to Hook? I remember being confused about the wording in that scene. I think Hook said something about how Neal would have done the same, but it kind seemed like Neal was just thanking Hook for getting Emma to Storybrooke in general, not for having received the message he sent him specifically. Does anyone have the actual dialogue from the scene? I may very likely be wrong, and if so, I agree that it opens up a lot of questions as to how the hell Neal was able to get a message out when he was stuck inside of Rumple for a year. That’s what I thought too. I didn’t think he was explicitly telling him that he sent the message just that he appreciates Hook getting Emma when he couldn’t but I haven’t re watched that scene either so I don’t know for sure. That’s just what I remembered thinking when I watched it the first time.
