Though I suppose he’ll probably end up dead after he inevitably ends up on the main show.
I used to want them to keep Zelena around into next season, but now I just want to see her melted ASAP.
Actually I hope they’ll keep Zelena around. I think she’s my favorite villain yet. She seems to be having so much fun doing what she does! Add to that her unpredictability and crazyness and you never know what you’re going to get. Rebecca Mader seems to be having a blast playing her, which makes her very enjoyable to watch for me.
As for Blackbeard, I dont think he was ever meant as more than a one-off character and vague reference to the book. And from a character perspective I think Hook 100% made the right call there. Hook could not let someone get away with stealing his ship (and his reputation). There was no guarantee that Blackbeard would’ve actually led him to prince Eric. More likely he’d have left him on a remote island somewhere without ship or crew (and his crew would never follow him again after that).
Ariel’s reaction seemed a bit over the top to me. I can understand she was angry, but I’m sure Hook would’ve continued helping her search for Eric, even without Blackbeard if she’d stuck around.
By the way, did anyone else expect her to become shark-food when she jumped into the water like that?
