Yes, I have similar memories… its the company not the game.
As my hubby points out, that was Killian being a “dad” hanging out with Henry and passing down a traditional thing guys do together. The kid has never had a man in his life – even when he did know Neal he knew him for all of about 6 hot seconds. Trust me, as a woman there are PLENTY of times I freak out about stuff my son says or does but men will stop me and tell me I HAVE to let it go because it is a guy thing and I DON’T understand. And I’m talking about pastors at my church telling me that I need to let him be a guy.
I get the same thing from my husband and two of my brother in laws… that they are boys. The things they do though…. lol. I just dont get it. So I will have to agree that it must be a male thing.
