Okay, we know Zelena gets a heart (Sneak Peek #1) and Rumple and Robin have a confrontation. But what if Robin Hood asks Rumple to take his heart instead of Regina’s?
The heart that Zelena has is dark, so we may all assume it’s Regina’s. But Robin Hood was a thief. He could’ve committed murders in order to protect people and, even if it has good intentions, stealing is still wrong. It’s a very subjective thing, yet, by EF law and Real World law, stealing is a crime. That could lead to a darkened heart, especially since Robin mentioned to Regina back in the EF (3×13, “Witch Hunt”), “Like you, I’ve also done things that I regret.”
And Rumple still has some sense of free will and can lie. What if he takes Robin’s heart out of Robin’s request and give it to Zelena? I could see it as something Rumple would do.
So, what do you guys think?

It could be true, maybe the writers and sneaks peeks and press release are lying to us. What a twist it would be.
I don’t think so. One its constantly pointed it out its hers. her sister may be crazy but she’s still smart enought to tell the difference, and did u forget about Roland. Even if though he has feelings for Regina i don’t see him giving up his heart so regina doesn’t lose hers at the risk of something bad happening to his and his son losing a second parent. Also thats the bag Regina put her heart in at the end of ep 16.
I agree it would be twisty, but I’m with MM12 on this one. That heart is as black as coal–you only get that for committing a life time of evil crimes. Think about Snow–she only got a tiny black spot for her role in Cora’s death. This heart belongs to someone who has been committing acts of evil for a long time, acts of evil that go far beyond theft.

Robin could’ve explained to Rumple the alternative option and then switch the hearts from the bag.

But Rumple is under Zelena’s control, which Robin knows. He can’t trust Rumple right now because he has no free will.
