the only problem the idea with Hook casting the curse, is that he would need to sacrifice the heart of the thing he loves the most. And the Jolly Roger isn’t a person, so who’s heart would he sacrifice?
I was listening to the Captain Swan podcast yesterday and I think Serena said, maybe Aurora sacrificed her baby’s heart but omg, that’s really, really dark, even for OUAT.
I still think maybe Zelena was the one who cast the curse and the heart she most likely used was her adoptive father, even though he didn’t love her back — he was the only family she had left that she cared enough about. And it definitely wasn’t Rumple’s heart.
