We know Emma loves Hook. The longing looks, the way he is always there for me and puts her and Henry first, all of this stuff means something to Emma. She doesn’t vocalize her feelings for him the way Hook’s always said ‘I love you’ in different ways because remember, Hook’s confident that Emma loves him.
Hook feels right now that he can’t sacrifice Emma’s magic and he can’t tell anyone about his curse, but the bigger shocker would be, if Emma and Hook do kiss, and it’s true love’s kiss and all curses can be broken if it’s a kiss born of true love, then it’s possible TLK could also protect Emma’s protect from being taken away as well.
