There’s something that’s been bothering since we saw the episode. It’s Emma’s magic. I feel like there’s an inconsistency error here.
Because when we saw her use her magic willingly (in the season two finale), it was a bluish color and now, there’s no more blue. It’s just white.
[adrotate group="5"]I think that is because when she is in danger the color changes vs when she isn’t. Emma is never the attacker just on defense so I hope Regina attacks and Emma protects.
Note: Apparently Regina couldn’t win with the Witch in FTL after 1 year so they came to SB. Which is making me wonder if Snow created the curse to protect her new baby.

That’s a REALLY interesting idea. I like the idea that Emma’s magic is different depending on circumstances.

Good question. We saw in 301 the light flicker when Emma was giving birth to Henry because the emotions took over. So I’d say that Emma has always had some sort of ability but unlike Zelena she’s hid it behind her walls.
I’d be curious to see Emma as a little foster girl, to see if she ever did some magic unknowingly and maybe that’s one of the reasons she was moved around so much–she freaked out the parents."He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I’d like to see that too RG. There was an episode of Charmed in season one where the sisters learned they had their abilities when they were younger. It would be cool if we got something similar with Emma.
The colors of magic do seem meaningful, but we’ve seen Rumple use almost every color of magic there is. (Usually purple, but also red, blue (healing particularly), and black that I can remember off the top of my head.) Cora and Regina mainly use purple, and Zelena and Pan mainly use green, but I don’t think that their magics are limited to those colors either.

That’s true Keb. Certain kinds of magics are certain colors like teleportation – forget what that color is at the moment

Sometimes the colors the people use are more keeping with traditional images of them, though.
Cora uses red as well–but she’s the Queen of Hearts and wore a TON of red once she took over WL. It’s her power color.
Zelena and Pan both use green but I wouldn’t have expected them to use anything else because both are associated with green (Pan wears green, the WWW is green…)With Emma, I honestly expected her magic to always be white/rainbow because she’s TL incarnate so the color magic in 222 confuses me.
