Where does this fall on the timeline.
"He was a lot of things to me" "The only conclusion was love"I wonder if the Dorothy scene which she is in the blue dress is a flashback with the melting and Zelena figured out how to over come that. Now it just requires removing the necklace to rid her powers and then using the “ripping out the heart” method to kill her or to just excile her someplace.

It may just be the green melting off her, as opposed to her whole body melting. Her facial features still seem properly formed, just looks like the green is falling away. Sort of similar to what happened to Rumple when Belle kissed him. So if Rumple could reverse that effect in order to keep his magic, Zelena probably can too.
