Here’s a little something that stood out to me when I rewatched this episode. A lot of time passes after Regina light-smacks Zelena and the dagger hits the floor. Charming runs to collect mini-charming, then fends off a monkey who turns out to be Little John. (Does this mean Little John was “beautiful one, by the way?)
So why isn’t Rumple pouncing his dagger right about then? Or is he? Do you think Rumple could’ve switched daggers then and there? Maybe he was faking being controlled by Regina? (Otherwise the whole fake dagger ploy would have been over before it got started).
Maybe it’s my overactive imagination but something does look off with the dagger Regina is holding. All in all it wouldn’t change too much, but it would be nice if he had not switched daggers on Belle.
[adrotate group="5"]Nah, I think he switched daggers on Belle. He told Zelena he used the follow the lady sleight of hand his father taught him on Belle so i think its safe to say the real dagger is what she really had before she handed it to him.
I think Zelena called all her monkeys Beautiful One. I thinks its the OUAT equivalent of “my pretty” from the 1939 film. Also, I thought the dagger looked strange too but just thought it was me

Yeah, I dunno if “my pretty” was in the book or if it was just a movie thing? If it was a movie thing, then they probably couldn’t legally use it, so “beautiful one” is their take on it.
