We saw the reappearance of the Black Fairy wand again and then we see Elsa.

Who else thinks Elsa is the Black Fairy? And if she is, what did she do to get banished?

I don’t think so…I think the Black Fairy would be in all black. But I do think Elsa has a bone to pick with Rumple! 😛

I think Elsa will be the Witch from Narnia/The lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

She’s going to bring a thousand years of winter to Storybrooke just like Narnia.

Narnia really focused on kids, so i could see Henry getting the spotlight a lot more next season if Narnia is where we’re going.

Nahhh, it’s weird for the temperature here to drop below freezing. We get our winter weather straight from Hawaii.

I don’t think so, because she was shown to have power without needing the wand, but fairies in the past have always needed a wand for magic I think, right? Otherwise there would be little reason for Blue to have taken Black’s wand from her before banishing her. I admit, because we got the reappearance of the wand (though I’m admittedly bamboozled as to why Rumple would have it when they have to get it from Blue in 3×11) and once again mentions of the dark fairy that gave Snow the fairy dust had me expecting the cliffhanger to involve the Black Fairy, but I’m reluctant to think it’s the Snow Queen. I don’t know how Blue goes about naming her buddies, but I can’t imagine anyone naming Elsa Black, with her decidedly glacial palette. I suppose we’ll see in the Fall.

i’m pretty sure that the black fairy was probably Maleficent but they wont do the spin on that till after the new movie comes out

For real. Didn’t they say that Blue banished Black? So it made sense for Blue to have her wand. Are we supposed to believe that Rumple somehow managed to wrangle something that powerful away from Blue? And then she somehow got it back? I’d almost rather that they’d invented a brand new magical plot device to reopen the time portal, instead of making it this.

Well Elsa did have black in her previous costume before she went glacial, I suppose?

Since we learned that the Black Fairy was a thing, I’ve wanted her to be Maleficent, who actually WAS a fairy in the original story, so it would be a good fit. When she lost her wand, she got herself that staff instead to weild magic with. The more time that passes without us seeing more Maleficent, the less I’m convinced we’ll see her again, though I believe the actress is now available and S4 is already the season for cashing in on movie success, so if they were gonna bring her back at any point, this might be it.
