For me I don’t think she’ll be a straight up villain like we’ve seen in the past. I think she’ll be someone who’s powers just cause problems for everyone in SB. I know they could go another way but I’m hoping they try this thing where Elsa’s is like a force a nature that cannot be controlled and that’s why she provides a threat to the town.

That would be alright. Despite what’s being said, I still doubt it will be too true to Frozen (or, if it is, it will be a very short-lived appearance) because, frankly, so many have seen it a dozen times and will have watched it a dozen times more by September.

One thing I’d like to see from the original Snow Queen would be the mirror (or, it could be ice) shards that can get caught in people’s hearts and eyes from innocent-looking items and twist their personalities. I wouldn’t mind an Elsa who’d been an unsuspecting victim of one of those and perhaps that’s why she can’t control her powers.

I’d also like to know if she’ll be a contender for Zelena’s open seat in the West at the table of Oz Witches.

^^^ I really think I need to read the Snow Queen story over the summer in case they do add in more things from the story than they’re letting on.

The amount of tie-in potential that doesn’t get used might irk you, though. I know that happened a bit to me with Wonderland. That said, that whole style of read-between-every-single-line writing drove me mad at first but, now I’ve grown quite fond of it.

Project Gutenburg is wonderful. You can read it online or download a ebook format of your choice here: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1597?msg=welcome_stranger#link2H_4_0006

You’ll find Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass there, as well…all free.

^^^ I have a few of the stories that a lot of the Once characters are based on in my iBooks, I’ve read a few of them not all. I didn’t even know I already had The Snow Queen until I looked today 😛
