Perhaps it would make more sense for FTL to have its own unique issues surrounding LGBT relationships. For example, they accept LGBT people and relationships, but things could get a little tricky if two princesses get together, marry, and rule a kingdom together, because then they’d have suitors from all over the world trying to win the right to be their baby-daddy. What would the procedure be for this? Would the child be considered a bastard? Would they need a different kind of ‘marriage’ ceremony to make it so that the child wasn’t considered a bastard by the people?
Also, there’s an opportunity for a bit of comedy here, like the girls getting jealous of the stunning new girl when she’s around their men, only to be flirty with her once they find out she’s gay (happens to me… only without the stunning part :/)
