Reply To: Emma + Baelfire = Swanfire

Hey Everyone I feel the need to vent a little bit so excuse the short rant.

Just because friends don’t like the same things as another person doesn’t make that a bad thing or just because a friend chooses to have different beliefs other the you doesn’t mean that what you believe is wrong or right. Well the other day I was on twitter and found that I was blocked by someone who I considered a friend simply because I am a SwanFire Fan and I vocalize it & how I dislike the show direction on Twitter & Facebook. It seems to me that if we are friends it shouldn’t matter what couple either one of us ships.

Well yesterday I participated in the #StopOnceUponAHook Twitter Trend not only because I’m still very sad, angry, upset and bitter over how MRJ, Neal, SwanFire & the fans were all treated by the writers and the network and the Hook and CS Fans as whole but because the show has gone downhill in my opinion due to the over promotion of Hook as well the various continuity mistakes, plot holes, the storyline in general.
For me I loved Once Upon A Time because I have always loved fairytales, fables as well as myths & legends and Once Upon A Time brought these iconic characters to life and gave us new characters to love in a modern day fairytale that incorporated Family, Hope, Faith, Belief, Magic, Curses, Kings & Queens, Prince’s & Princesses, Witches, Wizards, Pirates, Ogres, Trolls, Gnomes, Second Chances, True Love, True Loves Kiss, Happy Endings & Happy Ever Afters, Adventures, Quests, etc. What drew me in was that they mixed the old fairytales with a new tale in modern day, Now it seems the dynamic of the show has changed so dramatically into something I hardly recognize now. It seems like it’s all about Hook now every character on the show seems OOC these days and their screen time seems to be less & less because they want to show more & more Hook and CS and that is something that I’m not on board with.

The last time I checked it was still a free country and fans have the right to to speak their minds and voice their opinions to the network and the show’s creators. Well yesterday the message I got from the Hook & CS Fans over on Twitter was that I’m not a real fan because I don’t ship CS and I dislike Hook so I should quit watching Once Upon A Time.

I agree with Heather if they do go to Comic-Con it will be a complete and utter joke as Heather just said. But I’m interested to see what questions about SF, Neal, MRJ does actually get thrown at Adam & Eddy, & the entire cast because they have got to figure there are going to be fans there who will want ask those type of questions.
I doubt that the questions from fans will screened because generally at these events their not but in this case they just might be because they don’t want to deal with the backlash from the fans for what they did. So in a way I agree with Rainbow that if they do go to Comic-Con this year they are likely to include Jared this time to give the view of a united cohesive front between the Creators & the Cast. Which in my opinion will be all about Public Relations Damage Control.

ABC along with Adam & Eddy and the cast aren’t that stupid & blind they have to know that many of the fans are angry and want answers. The real question then becomes will they have the balls to admit their mistakes at public event like this.
