Ultimately, the two settled for a name that is both original, and yet old-school and a little regal. Per TMZ, the child is named Oliver Finlay Dallas. Oliver is not the sort of name you really hear that much anymore, but is certainly preferable to “Pilot Inspector,” “Moses,” “Kyd,” “North West,” or some of the other names that have come out over the years.
Dallas and Goodwin certainly had their child at around the best possible time, given everything else that they have going on right now when it comes to their careers. They can take a little bit of time in here to rest and celebrate being parents, and then they can head back to work on the ABC series. We know that “Once Upon a Time” itself will start production next month, and then premiere either in late September or early October unless there is some sort of dramatic and unexpected change that shakes things up a little bit.
For now, though, congratulations to the couple! Hopefully, they will be able to try enjoy a sort of time that they will remember forever.
