I’m loving the Hook/Swan thing on Once Upon a Time, but something is bothering me: How long will Emma put up with his choice of clothing? Come on, they’re not in FTL anymore and no one else is dressed as such. A shower and some nice clothes just might move Emma in the right direction. —Linda
Aye, we may just find out if (new) clothes indeed make the man. I can exclusively report that there are plans to get Hook out of his pirate gear and into clothes befitting our world — and that his new look will be debuted in the early part of Season 4. Fun fact: After Colin O’Donoghue and I took this pic during my last set visit, I tried on Killian’s coat, and that slab o’leather weighs 50 lbs. if it weighs an ounce!http://tvline.com/2014/07/10/once-upon-a-time-season-4-captain-hook-new-clothes/

But Colin looks great in anything.

1) OUAT needs to totally rip off Sleepy Hollow’s tight jeans scene. Like, word for word.
2) Keep the coat. Or get some kind of modern version of it.
3) NO PLAID. Colin can wear plaid. Killian cannot.
4) Get rid of the big rings. Keep the thumb one, I like it for some reason. Same with the chain.
5) I’m on the fence about henleys.
6) I swear to God if they stick him in some sweater like Eric’s ‘working down at the cannery’ sweater, I will drive to Steveston and smack someone.

Ditto on that!! No turtlenecks or crewneck t-shirts either.

I wonder if Colin said YES!! when he was told. 🙂 I think of Hook’s outfit as his uniform or his “armor”. Leather doesn’t get cut through easily in a sword fight. He wore military garb when he was younger so he probably didn’t give much thought wearing the same clothes for hundreds of years, too focused on his goals to care what he wore.
I hope he gets to keep the coat. I love his coat. But wear long sleeve shirts (white, black, blue) with waistcoats, like I’ve seen Colin wear. One waistcoat has to be red. Dark blue or black jeans. Rounded toe boots with heavy metal buckles. Keep the jewelry the same, because those could have sentimental value to him like Emma’s. I hope it’s Emma who takes him shopping or just buys him the clothes and asks him to try them out. Yeah, I’ve given this some thought… 🙂

@ellemo78 and @surayya Henley’s are basically what Bill on True Blood wore every episode for S1. Also known as a thermal undershirt.
