Haha, Nemo!  Baby Neal is officially Nemo!

RGF – awesome thoughts!  I, too, loved when Emma held his head but I didn’t even really see it in that context until you pointed it out — I just saw it as the ‘Charming Family Hug,’ which in itself gave me feels to no end, but I love the next level that you brought up.

The hand holding thing just gets me with every rewatch and gifset!  I love how they purposely did a close of up that action – that’s how important it was.  You didn’t even need to see Hook’s face to know when Emma first moved her hand that he thought she was going to drop it, pull away – but she didn’t, she grabbed on tighter.  The looks of utter adoration he gives her from then on just reinforce how that one little action on Emma’s part means the world to him.  Feeeeeels!  🙂

Unfortunately…yes, I think a lot of folks have run for the hills, unfortunately.  I have to say, I’m not surprised.  I’ve mentioned before I used to go into many of the threads but now stick pretty much to this one or some of the least controversial threads.  I actually read and posted in the Most/Least Favorite threads for 4×1 & 4×2…but even there, Hook/CS was the giant elephant in the room.    But I think a big part of the problem here and elsewhere isn’t in regard to ships, directly.  It’s that some people are loving the season (and we can admit it, are spoiled!) whereas others seem to feel the writing has gone downhill.  And that divide is getting bigger and bigger.  There are those of us that know there’s plotholes and loopholes galore but enjoy the fun the show offers, while others are getting frustrated with those loopholes and plotholes not being addressed as time goes on.  Neither group is right or wrong, but it gets increasingly difficult to debate when the problem comes down to how you’re watching the show.
